I made my little Dac some white peach puree the other day for his first taste of solids. A friend suggested it because white peaches aren’t as sweet as the yellow ones and it definitely turned out perfect!
It had great peachy flavor but wasn’t sweet or sour at all. Dac loved it and oh my gosh the way he eats his little puree is so precious!
They were very easy to make. I usually steamed fruits and veggies when I made them for Pig but my friend told me she baked hers in a pyrex dish in some water at 400 degrees. I tried that with three peaches and it worked great! They took about 30-40 minutes for the skin to start splitting open and become soft enough to blend.
