Letters To Baby

Dear Piggie,

You are growing up so fast. You are coming into your own little person with so many decisions to make, and you definitely love making all of them, even if they seem completely absurd to me.
I love how unique you are, you make me laugh every day with your little quirks and budding personality. No less than five times a day, I look at you and can't believe you are mine. Not only are you beyond beautiful, but you have the most calm spirit about you beneath the toddler exterior.
I think you are smart, funny, adorable, gorgeous, inquisitive, impressive, kind, sympathetic, sensitive and cautious. You fascinate me. Captivate me. Aggravate me. Push me to my limits and pull me back in close instantly.
You make me feel happy, proud, amazed, fulfilled and with purpose. You make me feel sad when I fail you. I'm so sorry for all the times I've messed up. Lost my temper. Yelled at you or ignored you when you needed me. No one has made me want to be a better person like you have.
Dear Dacky,
You are so delicious. I love holding you and inhaling your hair and breath. You are getting into everything now and trying to walk. I love the way you take the initiative to practice things on your own. You're so bold and fearless.
You're so brave for being such a little guy. You get pushed down and yelled at, but you rarely let it get to you. You get right back up. I bet that's how you'll always be. You may get knocked down, but you'll always get right back up and try again.
I also love the way you like to try new things. You want to eat what everyone else is eating. You don't care that you don't have all of your teeth yet, or that some foods are too hard for you to chew up. You still want to give it a shot. I bet that's how you'll always be. Some challenges may seem too big for you to accomplish, but you'll go for them anyway.
You're gonna do big things Dacky! I can't wait to see all that you learn and discover this month.
