Gettin His Engine Ready!

Piggie Smalls is about to crawl, I can't believe it!  Everyone says it but seriously, I can't believe my little boo boo is growing up so fast!

I've been baby-proofing the house and I'm getting my carpet deep-cleaned tomorrow.  I've been told by some veterans to get down on the ground and look for anything shiny before the crawling monster gets to it.

Actually Piggie Smalls has a fetish for tissue paper.  If you hand him a piece (which we do when we really want him to be distracted for a few seconds) he almost shakes and his mouth makes this little "o" shape.  He grabs it out of your hand and immediately starts shredding it.  He also makes 3 different piles out of his shreddings...that's probably the beginning of a disorder!

I keep telling my husband that we're treating him like we would a puppy; like you rough house with a puppy cause it's cute and show them things to play with cause it's sooo cuuute, and then when they get bigger it's NOT so cute anymore.  So this tissue game we have with him is probably going to bite us later on.

*Sigh*, why do our babies have to grow up so fast?
