Exhausted Hermit

lol that's literally Piggie Smalls with his one tooth.

I haven't been posting much because, as I mentioned in my last post, I have a teething baby who's keeping me pretty tired.

That being said, I haven't been going out much either.  Not because Piggie Smalls is teething, but just because the politics of our Mommy & Me group are getting a little annoying.  Now that we're all getting to know one another better, things are getting more comfortable and cliques are forming.  I just hate when that happens in circles of women.

I left a play date early a week ago because one mom was making me feel bad about my decision regarding vaccinations.  I was totally into this kind of stuff a few months ago but sobered up real quick.  It doesn't matter what another mom chooses for herself or her baby, it's not my business.  We're all different, as are babies, so different things work for different people.  So I don't appreciate people giving me unsolicited "advice".  Command or judgement would be a better word.

But I have found one really great friend and I'm so happy I've gotten to know her.  She's one of those people that you instantly feel a connection with.  I feel like I can answer my door with my hair pulled back and no makeup on if it's her.  It's like I've known her all my life.  I love when life gives you the opportunity to meet a friend like that.

And that's it for my update.  Hopefully I can get some more recipes on here soon, stay tuned!
