Dac's 5 Month Stats

So this is only about a month late. Dac will be six months next week already!!!

  • Weight - I don't know. Kinda heavy but not really. {Update - 19.2lbs}
  • Length - I don't know. Long enough to kick me with his sticky feet at night. {Update - 27in}
  • This past month Dac learned how to sit up! He had been doing it a little bit and tipping over easily, and then one day he just got it!
  • He loves watching Pig. I can just set him in his bouncer and put it wherever Pig is and he's happy to jump and stare at his brother. Thank the lord because this gives me a chance to do things like eat and clean.
  • He's desperately trying to get into a crawling position, just can't seem to get up on his hands and knees at the same time yet.
  • Falling out of the swing doesn't phase him. Actually I think he likes it so he can play with the seat while laying under it on the floor. {Not saying that's how I've walked into the room and found him or anything...}
  • I gave him a taste of solids this month even though he's technically not six months old yet. I gave him peach puree for about three days before I grew bored of it. It's just so much easier to nurse.
  • He loves to cackle, blow spit on everyone, and be held. He also loves to be pushed around in his bouncer by Pig, they have a blast together doing that.
That pretty much wraps up Dac for this past month. My little man is growing up so fast, I can't believe he'll be six months this next week. I'm guessing this entire next month will be getting his engines ready to start crawling. Time to start baby proofing!

    Can I just say how adorable he is! They are quite the cute duo. I didn't keep well enough track of heights and weights either, but I could tell you everything about physical and verbal and teeth development..and lack thereof!

    He is adorable!! I have 2 little girls, one 2 years and the other 8 1/2 months. The baby loves watching her older sister for entertainment. They can be so sweet at this age. 🙂 Anyhow, I am stopping by from the Tattler Thursday blog hop! 🙂 http://jayhawkmom.blogspot.com

    We never followed the feeding rules either. If G was interested in it we let him try it no matter how old/young. He's still alive and thriving. 😉
