Playing in the yard
His new favorite activity is reading!

Piggie Smalls is 13 months and has finally started pulling up on furniture and started to cruise around just a little bit.  I figured he'd not walk until at least 14 months, he's a laid back little guy!  But anyway, his new skills means he needs mama to help him back down into a sitting position and also keeps her on her feet because of all the new things he can grab!  He also has woken up several times around 2 in the morning to practice these new skills...sigh! 🙂

Good on you! I need to do that too. I like the way you've stated your desire - so many blogs make it like a legalistic thing. But you seem very chilled about it, and that's really, really encouraging! I find I fail at things more regularly when I feel "legalised" into it. But, purely from your easy-going decision, I feel encouraged to do it too. Thanks, sister!PS: I agree with Mara (another sweet friend), your little man has the cutest cheeks! I just want to kiss each one 😉

You are right to keep your priorities straight, and put taking care of your adorable Piggie Smalls, and your housework first, above technology. He needs to see your loving face, giving him vibes, and now that he is walking, you are busier than ever, keeping him out of harm's way. You are a good mother, and I love your blog.
