Mommy Makeover

So I'm seven months out from having a baby and I have yet to do any real shopping since returning to my pre-preggo weight. I feel like I literally have nothing to wear in public.

I'm one of those dazed and confused shoppers. Not really sure what looks good on me, not great at pairing things together, easily distracted by yoga pants or clothes that I will never actually wear.

I made a little inspiration board for myself so my brain can absorb the overall goal of the next shopping trip and not become sidetracked once set loose into the clothing racks.

General theme: operation hide-the-muffin-top. My stomach hasn't completely gone back and I'm not even sure it ever will {here's to hoping at least}. But skin tight clothes are definitely not my friend.

I need clothes that highlight the smallest part of my waist, and then flow outwards to make it look even smaller! I'm thinking...

Wish List

I also need to dedicate an entire shopping trip just to jeans. Jeans are like swimsuits or bras, very annoying to shop for because you truly need to find the right fit in order to look your most awesome. Any tips on favorite stores for jeans?

{And that blue bag is totally a diaper bag, I had to keep it real}.

Okay so those are items I'd love to have in my closet but likely wouldn't wear except maybe once a week when I'm actually going to go somewhere further than pushing my trash can to the curb.

I'm definitely getting the Jennifer Aniston cut and color, but...my day to day hair and apparel realistically looks more like this:

SAHM

This is actually even cuter than my current attire, but you catch my drift.

Hair in a bun, huge dark glasses to cover my tired face, nothing constricting, must be easily pulled up or down to remove boob for baby, etc.

If you have any tips or advice on your favorite places to shop, let me know!
