Thinking about: How I need to step away from my phone more this week. I go through phases where I don't look at my phone much and then looking at it nonstop. This past week was a nonstop week. I annoy myself. I don't even know what I'm looking at for that much time!
Reading: Still reading Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams. I thought it was going to be a book I devoured in a few days because it's so good, but it's a book that is so freaking good your brain needs to marinate what you just read. I read it on my Kindle app so I can highlight things; I'm not even halfway through it and the last few days I've just been going back through and reading the highlighted parts over again and again, letting them seep into my brain.

Listening to: I've been listening to old school Nelly, specifically "Ride Wit Me". Oh yeah baby, that's my jam! Unedited version, turned up, singing out loud. Always puts me in a good mood.

Watching: Just finished Orange is the New Black, season two. Amazing. Now we need to catch up on The Walking Dead and Homeland.

Thankful for: All of the free time I've had to myself recently. I had a massage and hair appointment last week and then the whole evening after that at home alone. Luis took the kids to his mom's house. He's been giving me more time after he gets home from work or like even right now as I type this. He has the kids. It's so nice!!! I love my kids but I love them even more after I've had a break.

Piggie's shirt is from Young & Rad, by the way. Isn't it so cute?! They're a new clothing boutique and I'm digging their apparel! Plus he's young and he's rad so this shirt definitely suits him, haha! FYI - Piggie got ketchup all over this and I was able to get it out, woot woot! I was definitely impressed with the quality of the material.

This Week's Goals:
  1. Finish all blog posts for the week during the weekend. Schedule tweets on Hootsuite. The less excuses I have to look at my phone, the better.
  2. Don't look at my phone so much. I think I'm gonna keep it in another room. I don't need to have a screen in my face every second that I'm sitting down.
  3. Clean house on Monday. This will be the third week of cleaning my entire house on one day rather than spread out. I'm liking it a lot more. I have to be in a mood to clean (ie, in a strong mental state to go up against Dacky and clean while he destructs behind me), so might as well ride that wave out when I have it.
  4. Get to bed earlier. No amount of makeup can make my eyes look more awake, so that's my cue to get more sleep. Again...step away from the phone, Jessica.
  5. Start the process of painting bathroom cabinets. I'm testing out the whole repainting cabinets project since the boy's have a small bathroom. This will give me a chance to see if I'm really down to repaint the kitchen cabinets.

What's your week looking like?
