You guys...we got SNOW in Phoenix! This is like the third or fourth time it's happened since I've lived here, which is almost 23 years I think? Damn, I'm really old.

Thinking about
I'm starting homeschool preschool with the boys on Monday. The other night I sat down and wrote out a list of all the cool places to go and things to do and made a schedule in my planner. I also read a few homeschooling books and came up with our preschool schedule. Dacky turns 2 this month and Piggie turns 4. I wasn't going to really include Dacky but he is so freakin smart that he's gonna get educated too! He loves to learn so I can't imagine leaving him out.

He's also a freak.

I'm mainly excited because now that my youngest isn't in the baby stage anymore, going out with two kids isn't as hard for me as it was. They're playmates and will run off to play together (hallelujah). I'm really looking forward to all of the things I have planned for us.
Reading
Get Rich Lucky Bitch. This woman is amazing; I found her through a blog email series I was reading and lo and behold she's majorly into the Law of Attraction like moi, so I stalked her for a few hours and then realized she had books, one that is on Kindle Unlimited! So I've just started reading this, can't really say either way what I think about it but so far, it's awesome. She also has lots of YouTube videos and I can't wait till I have some time to listen to the ones on blogging.

I also just finished reading The Map: To Our Responsive Universe, Where Dreams Really Do Come True. Really good book, she goes pretty in-depth about changing your negative core beliefs about life that are holding you back.

Loving
I said it last month and I'll say it again: this freakin planner is amazing! The last time I wrote about it, I had yet to get it. I bought it a few weeks ago and I'm so in love with it. I already have it filled out like crazy. I love it because not only is it perfect, planner wise, but it's so motivational. If you're into writing down goals and keeping up with them on a daily/monthly basis, you'll love this. I can write a goal down or think it in my head and then never remember to think about it again. I think that's one of the biggest factors to achieving goals is being reminded that you even have them and to continue your focus on them.

This picture makes my soul happy. Coffee, journal, and planner? Don't mind if I do!

Doing
I've been working on growing my email list and I just made this awesome document of my top 11 blogging tips, along with some of my favorite resources. It was supposed to be 10 and it's actually 12 tips, with the last one being a bonus. I could've kept going but had to refrain myself, so I will definitely be making more of those and covering more topics. I love me some blogging and I love to talk to about it!
So, two things. Subscribe to my email list if you'd like to get the 11 tips and also a really cute, 8x10 inspiring printable.

And secondly, is anyone interested in starting a small, close knit  blogging group on Facebook with me? I want to create a closed Facebook blogging group where we can ask questions, get opinions, collaborate together, etc. Everyone could invite other blogging buddies to join as well. If you're interested, let me know in the comments and I'll post a link to the group later this week or next after I've made it.

Enjoying
Luis being home. The last three months of the year he works pretty crazy, so I was definitely starting to lose my shit in December. I love having him home because when one of the boys are annoying me I can say "Ohhh cool...go show that to papá!" Or "go ask papá!" or "oh my gosh, where's papá?! Go find him, hurry!" Sigh...there's nothing better than dumping the kids off on him, always feels amazing.
Goals for this month
  • Look at my planner every day. This is crucial because it has things in there I don't need to be forgetting! Goals, plans, activities.
  • Have posts for the blog written out before the start of each week.
  • Less phone time during the day.
  • Be in bed before 10. I won't fall asleep at 10 because I'm a night owl but if I'm in bed by 10 and forced to lay there and read, I'll be asleep by 11. And I need to be asleep by 11 because my boys are morning people.
  • Be more purposeful in my writing this month on the blog.
What are you up to this month? Any new goals for the New Year? Any new books you're reading that you care to recommend? Don't forget to let me know if you'd be interested in joining the Facebook blogging group!
