Thinking about: I'm thinking about our yard that Luis has been revamping and building! Omg you guys...we're going to have a little playground for the boys! I'm so excited! And we have a sand pit now with a stone fire pit where we can roast marshmallows and sit under the stars together (you can see a million stars where we live because we don't have many city lights)!!! The playground will be done this week and we have two big toys ordered and on their way to us!

I'm really hoping and praying and begging the toddler gods that Pig and Dac will love their little playground and burn off all that crazy energy they have. And it will be so awesome to have a little mini playground with all their toys set up under some shade. I would've loved this when I was little!
Reading: I was contacted by FarFaria, a company that has a reading app for little kids, to review their product. I was a little wary because I get a lot of lame offers from people trying to get me to promote something on my blog that I have zero interest in, but I decided to give this one a shot because HELLO, it's a reading app for little kids, it couldn't hurt.
I downloaded it and I thought it looked kind of iffy because there are no super popular titles, but Piggie surprisingly loves it. It's actually really cute, with lots of good stories and I like the little map that pulls up so you can decide what kind of books you want to read. The app will also read the stories out loud if you want, which I didn't want to do but Piggie, being OCD toddler like, insisted on using that option. It's like he thinks he's reading the story instead of me. I'm not allowed to help him with anything in life right now, we're in the "I DO IT!!!" phase.
Listening to: Baby Mine, from "Dumbo". I play that song every time the boys nap. It's the most precious mommy and baby song ever.
Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part, baby of mine.
Little one, when you play,
Pay no attention to what they say.
Let your eyes sparkle and shine,
Never a tear, baby of mine.
If they knew sweet little you,
They'd end up loving you too.
All of those people who scold you,
What they'd give just for the right to hold you.
From your head to your toes,
You're so sweet , goodness knows.
You are so precious to me,
Sweet as can be, baby of mine.
Watching: I'm SUPER obsessed with Orange is the New Black. Apparently the second season just started so my newfeed was blowing up with everyone all excited about it. I watched one episode and was hooked.
There are two main reasons why I love it. One - I can relate to the main character pretty well as far as coming from a life where I've never been in trouble and lived "normally". Two - the women in the prison and the stuff that goes on there totally reminded me of the women I worked with when I was a social worker for a domestic violence shelter. Crazy stuff was always happening and it's just a different way of life!
Thankful for: Dacky. He's 16 months old, which means his belly is still fat, his breath smells so good, he's completely innocent and cute and funny and his tantrums are even still adorable. And since he may be my last one, I'm just soaking up this baby period before it's gone. At any given moment in my house, you can find me blowing raspberries on his tummy or throwing him in the air or begging him to give me kisses. I'm so thankful I have a baby in my life.
