Thinking about

Leaving for the Grand Canyon and Sedona tomorrow. The boys are sick with runny noses, not sure what it’s going to turn into but hopefully nothing. I gave them an epsom salt bath tonight in hopes that it would help get out any toxins they have. I totally suck at home remedies. It’s like I don’t want to use OTC meds but I don’t know crap about anything else. I’m sure there’s some herbal tea and essentials oils that would cure them tonight. I even have books on homeopathy that I bought when I was a motivated first time mom. I just don’t care anymore, about anything…is that normal? They always survive.
Reading

Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams by Mike Dooley. I’m only into the first chapter, but I can tell it’s one of those books that I’m going to devour, highlight from cover to cover, and reread. I saw Dulce Candy post it on her Instagram (I blog stalked her this one time) and she’s big into the whole law of attraction thing like I am, so I immediately looked it up. I read every single night. After my shower, I turn on my little rain sounds and get in bed with my tablet and read. And when I don’t have a book I’m reading, I’m going through previous books and reading everything I highlighted. It’s my favorite time of the day….well, it comes in close to that glorious moment every morning when I have my first sip of coffee. I don’t think anything beats that.

Listening to

My favorite songs right now are:
  1. Summer – Calvin Harris
  2. Rude – Magic!
  3. Fancy – Iggy Azalea
I rock those songs loud when I’m driving. I also have some awesome dance moves that I do in the car when Fancy comes on. Luis always says “Ohhhhh my god, I wish I could unsee that.” JEALOUS.
Watching

Mainly OITNB. I’m almost midway through season two.
Thankful for

Our new car. I feel like my life was upgraded like ten notches. It’s so easy to get the kids in their seats, the ride is so smooth, there’s so many upgrades that my previous car from 2003 didn’t even come close to having, there’s so much more space, the new car smell…ahhh!!! Now when I drive our other car, I’m like “how did I survive in this thing?!”
This Week’s Goals

  1. Have fun on our road trip. That doesn’t sound like a very hard goal but when traveling with little people it’s easy for me to forget that I just need to relax and not worry about things going how they “should”. They’re not going to go how they should so I’m not even going to have my expectations up. But that doesn’t mean that we won’t have an awesome time.
  2. Get back to my cleaning schedule. And stick to it. I use the one by Michelle Lea, it’s perfect!
  3. I have a new challenge I’m giving myself everything month or every two weeks, not sure yet how long it will take me to complete but I’m picking one thing off of every board on my Pinterest and assigning it as a to-do on a secret board. I pin so much crap and never do it. So right now I have a few recipes, crafts and DIY, and an outfit and hairstyle I’m going to be trying. Woot!
What are you up to this week?

I'm loving "fancy" right now too and I am certain Louis is totally jealous of your dance moves 😉 Those cleaning schedules are incredible, I like to set a goal to be better at cleaning (I'm the WORST) but I just know I wont stick to it. haha!

Hahaha yes he is!! Yeah I know, I can go several weeks and be awesome at sticking to my schedule and then it's like MONTHS of haphazard cleaning lol.

I need to implement that cleaning schedule. Seriously. I was just thinking that I need some sort of organization so I can keep up, and that is absolutely perfect!

Yay for road trips! I hope you guys are having fun in Sedona! I love Fancy and I too have dance moves. I make Little A dance with me in the car and she loves it! She waves her hands in the air like she just don't care. ;)What is OITNB? Am I totally out of the loop? We're watching Game of Thrones right now and just started season 2 last night. That show is a bit ridiculous in the nudity area, but a good story line.

Hahahaha I'm sure your moves are awesome too. I also make Piggie dance, we totally get down. Hahahaha that's so cute, I can just picture you guys gettin crazy to Fancy!Orange is the New Black, that new show on Netflix that everyone is obsessed with. I also was late to the bandwagon on that one. Oh Game of Thrones is like our favorite show ever. Sucks that the seasons are short and you have to wait a year for the next season! And yeah, the nudity is over the top, we're always like "ooookay, wow" lol.
