I got one of those toy catalogues in the mail the other day, the ones that have toys way overpriced.
How do they even have the audacity to sell stuff that expensive when the same exact toy is at your local Wal-Mart or Target for 20-30% cheaper? Seriously, how do they get any business?
They probably prey on sweet, old grandmas and grannies. Ugh.
But anyway, I got some great ideas for what to get the boys and I found all the same ones on Amazon for way cheaper, of course.
So here is what I have picked out so far. Gonna try to not add anything else because toys are already coming out the windows of our house.
It was kind of hard to pick things out for Dac because we already have so much for him that was Pig's. He doesn't need anything, for sure. Actually, almost everything I have here is something that Pig loved at someone else's house, and also #2 & #6 were his favorite books...that he demolished after months of major use. So I made sure to get board books this time.
Piggie's was more fun to pick out. He's getting more into imaginative play, so I think he'll love the blocks.
My friend thought of Pig when she saw those eggs, and I knew right away he'd love them. He's obsessed with eggs and he's learning emotions = perfect!
The book "Love You Forever" makes me ugly cry. If you haven't read it, you should. But I want him to know I'll love him forever, no matter what he ever does or how frustrated he makes me.
He loves to draw and paint, so this doodler with a pen and stamp should be perfect for him during those times that I can't whip out the paint.
