In Love

Mama&PiggieSmalls

I just have to take a moment and write down how absolutely in love I am with my baby.

I love how I wake up to him making little baby sounds and blowing raspberries.

I love how when I look over at him in bed, he looks back and smiles.  I say "Good morning!" and he giggles and curls his body up next to mine.

I love our little walk from the bed into the living room, it's always the same: I grab my water cup and he immediately looks back to find it with his little hand that's constantly looking for something to grab.

I love how we sit down on the sofa, cuddle a little, and when I clear his nose with the nasal aspirator he tries to get away and then he'll open one eye and look around to make sure it's gone before he'll open his other eye lol.

I love our relaxed mornings of playing.

I love how after I put him to sleep in the rocking chair, I pick him up and lay down with him on the bed, where we cuddle up facing each other and take a nap.

I love how he thinks I'm so hilarious and laughs at all the funny faces I make.

I love how he gets attitude and kicks his legs and throws his arms out straight; he's so cute.

I love how if I hold him and just look at him, he looks away and smiles.

I love his little sour baby smell and his little sour hands that he puts on my mouth while he's nursing.

I love his baby breath, it's the best smell ever.

I love kissing his feet and looking at them; they're so cute when he's asleep in his swing, they look like little seal fins lol.

I love the way he spots me in a crowded room and will keep looking back at me as different people hold him, just to make sure I'm there.

Sometimes he can be taxing, especially on those days where he's up early and falls asleep late.  But...I love him so much.

He's perfect, beautiful, amazing, a miracle, my everything.  I love you baby.
