An unhappy Piggie Smalls |
So Piggie Smalls has unofficially been teething the last couple of days I suspected, and last night he officially started teething because he woke up several times seemingly in a very bad mood and even cried. Totally not like him. He's pretty tough, so that's how I know he must be in pain, if he actually cries.
(True story, I dropped my phone on his face and he only flinched. I was kind of amazed!)
My poor little baby, I felt so bad for him! I picked him up and rocked him in the glider and he fell back asleep instantly, and for the rest of the night he was comfort nursing almost hourly.
My plans for today were to meet up with The Moms, but after waking up so many times last night, I decided me and Piggie Smalls should probably stay home and nap as much as we could. I think maybe later today we might go shopping for a little bit just to get out of the house, but we'll be close to home if he starts to not feel well.
I really would like to buy him one of those amber teething necklaces, lots of moms swear by them. I also can't wait for my Ergo baby carrier to get here!!! I think it will really come in handy since he's not really digging being put down right now. Plus, the way the carrier positions the baby in the front is exactly how he's falling asleep on me recently, so this should be perfect. I'll make another post about my experience with the Ergo once I try it out.
Happy Friday!!!
