You may be wondering which kid I'm talking about, because I have one who is over three and one who is sixteen months. We're talking about my three year old, to clarify!
Someone once told me "You can start at two and be done by three, or you can start at three and be done by three." For Piggie, I knew that was going to be true for him. He's always been a late bloomer and very timid of new things. For the last year, he has shown some interest in the potty and he gets it, but he did not want to sit on that potty and do it himself.
I've been in no rush myself. I've just casually asked him here and there if he wanted to pee in the potty and he's usually responded that no, he does not want to sit on the potty, thankyouverymuchtryagainlatermom.
Yesterday though, he wanted to be naked like Dacky was (Dacky is always naked), so I thought about more pee on my carpet and I put the potty in the living room and told him to pee there if he need to use the bathroom. And so he did. Just like that!
No rewards needed, no reminders, no pushing or prodding. He just peed when he needed to (and maybe an extra twenty times per hour) but he was excited. And then I saw him straining and looking between his legs, and we had poop in the potty!
He hasn't wanted to wear his super hero underwear today yet, just his diaper, but he's had me take his diaper off so he could pee in the potty. Whatever, totally following his lead here! We shall see where all of this takes us this week. Meeting pods are essentially a little room within a room. They are primarily used for meetings, hence the name, but can be used for all kinds of purposes. These meeting pods come in all shapes and sizes to meet different needs. Pods can be open like the office itself or closed off for privacy and confidentiality. Closed pods are more beneficial because of their natural soundproofing. Open pods still have some basic level of soundproofing, so people can still hold private conversations. pod meeting
